1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the website at smekitlly.com, operated by Shenzhen Qiyun Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), which trades under the brand name Smekitlly, and to products you purchase from us. By using this site or placing an order you accept these terms.

2. Product information

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Specifications, images and dimensions are provided for guidance. Colours may render differently on different screens. Where a specification is critical to fitment, confirm it with us before ordering.

We may improve or change a product without notice. Where a change affects fitment or function, we will update the product page.

3. Fitment and compatibility

Ceiling fan remote kits are not interchangeable between all fan designs. A receiver must match your fan's motor and light wiring. It is your responsibility to confirm compatibility before ordering; we are glad to help you do so if you send us photographs of your existing setup and your fan's make and model.

4. Orders and pricing

Smekitlly products are currently sold and fulfilled through Amazon. This website is a brand and product information site; it does not itself take orders or process payments. Prices, taxes and delivery charges for a purchase are those shown on the marketplace listing at the time you order.

Orders placed through Amazon are governed by Amazon's terms in addition to these terms. Where the two conflict on the conduct of the sale, Amazon's terms prevail.

We may decline or cancel an order where a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, where stock is exhausted, or where we cannot verify the delivery details. If we cancel, any amount already paid is refunded in full.

5. Shipping

Orders placed through Amazon are shipped and delivered by Amazon. Delivery estimates, carriers and shipping charges are those shown on the marketplace listing at the time you order.

6. Returns and refunds

Orders placed through Amazon are covered by Amazon's returns process, which applies to those orders. In addition, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery. To start a return, write to support@smekitlly.com with your order reference.

Where an item is faulty or not as described, we cover the cost of returning it. Where you are returning an unwanted item, the cost of return postage is yours. Goods should come back in the condition you received them, with the components and instructions supplied. Orders placed through a marketplace follow that marketplace's return process instead.

7. Warranty

We provide a 1-year replacement warranty against manufacturing defects, running from the date of delivery. It covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, use with an incompatible fan, modification of the product, or normal wear and tear.

The warranty is provided by Shenzhen Qiyun Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., trading as Smekitlly. A successful claim gives you a replacement transmitter, receiver or complete kit, or a refund where no replacement can be supplied. Write to support@smekitlly.com with your order reference to make a claim.

8. Installation and safety

Our products are installed at a ceiling outlet carrying mains voltage. Installation instructions are provided with each product. You are responsible for installing the product safely and in accordance with the instructions and with the electrical code that applies where you live. If you are not confident working at a ceiling outlet, engage a licensed electrician.

Do not install a product that shows signs of damage, heat exposure or a burnt smell. Improper installation, use with an incompatible fan, or modification of the product voids any warranty and may create a safety hazard.

9. Intellectual property

The Smekitlly name, this website, its text, layout and imagery are our property or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written consent. Third-party product names and marks mentioned on this site remain the property of their respective owners, and are used only where accurate and necessary.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from a product or from this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where our company is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that place. Nothing in this section affects any statutory right you have as a consumer where you live.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the version published when you placed it. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
